Binding Screws

Binding Screws Binding screws are versatile with a wide range of uses. They are ideal for making swatches, brochures, point of sale products, presentation folders, menus etc. We have a choice of finishes and sizes for all sizes of documents. An advantage of using binding screws is that they can easily be unscrewed to change the contents of a document.

We stock brass, nickel, plastic and serrated binding screws in different pack sizes of 10, 100 and 1000 screws. Packs of 10, which are sold with free shipping to mainland UK, are very useful for mock ups and small presentation runs whilst the larger packs are suitable for bigger projects. Please call us for price and availability if you require more than 10,000 screws.

Binding screws are easy to use even if you have not had previous experience with them. Simply punch a 5 or 6mm hole in the substrate that you will be using, insert the base through the hole and screw together. If you need to change anything you will find that they are easy to remove. In order to get the correct size screws, simply put together the document or swatch and measure its thickness including any cover etc and this will be the size of screw that you require. The capacity of the screw is the length of the shank.

Our quality brass binding screws are made from solid brass. The nickel binding screws are available in two types - standard nickel coated brass and for the budget conscious, economy nickel coated steel.

For a more decorative appearance we have serrated edged screws. All the standard screws can be used with the brass extensions for extra capacity.

Plastic screws are available in black or white in a variety of sizes. These too can be easily opened when screwed together to change the contents of the swatch or document. Alternatively they can also be rapidly assembled using a hammer.

We have a range of punches available to make the holes in documents ready for assembly. Our most popular model is our own desktop punch/eyeletter.

For an alternative to binding screws you can choose between swatch fasteners, snap studs, binding rings or nickel ball chains.
